Key Features of X-Pak’s Container Door Tarp Systems:

Container Door Tarp

Our Container Door Tarp is a fast and easy-to-apply solution, effectively preventing goods from falling out of container doors upon arrival. Suitable for both standard GP and high cube containers, this cost-effective tarp system surpasses container netting systems. Integrated with two lashing belts, it requires 2 x ladder buckles to join the lashing straps, ensuring hand tensioning or tighter pulls with a tensioner for maximum load security.

Inflatable Container Door Tarp

The Inflatable Container Door Tarp is a fast and easy-to-apply solution with a dunnage bag incorporated to secure goods away from container doors. Ideal for larger gaps (e.g., 50cm or greater), it suits heavier-duty applications like some palletised loads. Installed with hand tension on lashing belts, the large air chamber is then inflated, putting tension on the lashing and securing goods for transport.

What Our Customers Say

Any Questions? We’ve Got You Covered.

These are the most commonly asked questions. Here’s everything you need to know about how our products work in your industry.

What is a container tarp door system?

A container tarp door system is a flexible and movable covering designed to enclose the openings of shipping containers, effectively preventing goods from falling out of the container doors upon arrival.

Tarp door systems help protect cargo from damage occurring when falling out when the container doors are opened, as well as protecting people from falling goods. They also add additional security to the container.

Tarp door systems are used in dry containers only as the system is required to be secured at the top and bottom of the container. Refrigerated containers don’t have securing points at the top or bottom.

X-Pak Global tarp door systems are made from Woven polypropylene (PP). The inflatable tarp also has a plastic (PE) liner. Both tarp door systems have lashing incorporated into them.

Tarp door systems are designed to be user-friendly and can be installed relatively easily.

Yes, many tarp door systems are designed to be adjustable to fit various container sizes.

Secure your load back from the doors using a rated system. The Container Transport Unit (CTU) code refers to accumulative gaps throughout the container. Anything more than a 150mm accumulative gap must use a load restraint.
